Happy Birthday Shaylee

Shaylee turned 3 today. I can't believe it !! She acts like she's 15. She has been a true joy in my life and I can't imagine not having her around. She has enough spunk for all 3 of us for sure. Today she woke up early and crawled in bed with me. Shelby and I sang happy birthday to her and from then on she was happy as a lark. We ate her favorite breakfast (crepes with strawberries and cream) then we went to church. She is so funny!! She asked if we could go to church again tomorrow. She loves Church !! Especially because we get to sit up front behind the bishop every week. She wanders around like she owns the place. Today while I was leading the music she stood up on the seat next to where I was leading (but behind me so I couldn't see) and she started leading as well. The whole ward was laughing!!

Shaylee I love you honey :) you bring so much fun and laughter to our home. You are such a sweet little thing with a whole lot of spice. Happpy 3rd Birthday.

Here goes.....

#1 I don't like the taste of toothpaste. Don't worry, I still brush my teeth everyday. I only do it because I have to, not because I like it.

#2 I hate it when anyone touches my BellyButton. Just feels like their finger is going all the way through and it just makes my skin crawl!!

#3 I hate to read, and it's been YEARS since I finished a book cover to cover.. Angela are we sisters for sure ???? We should check......

#4 My 3 biggest Fears..... Having one of my kids or close loved one die, Being first person to the scene of a deadly accident, and having to break up with a boyfriend ( I hate, hate, hate to do this)

#5 The worst job at home for me is matching Socks. I hate it and usually use it as punishment for my kids. I always have a big laundry basket full of socks in my bedroom to be matched up.

#6 I am a really good kisser :) Not that any of you care to know. lol (I'm obviously running out of things to say)

#7 I like to go to the bathroom with the door open. Unless it's a public restroom I always leave the door open. I also go to the bathroom all the time while talking on the phone.

Governors Christmas Party

I got invited to the Governors Christmas Party (thanks to Uncle Gary)
It was so much fun!! I took my friend Gloria as my date :) There was good food, good entertainmenet and a tour of the Governors Mansion.

Deer Down the Street

Shelby & I were driving down the road, and about 2 houses down the road we saw this huge herd of deer. It was pretty cool, so we took some pictures.

The Attack of the Ice Cream Bar

Shelby lost her first tooth last Friday. (other than the one that was knocked out)
We were driving to Salt Lake to see the Tabernacle Chior Christmas Concert. We stopped to get an ice cream, and continued our drive. She yelled out "Mom I just lost my tooth" as she started looking around to find the tooth. Then she realized that she was bleeding and started crying. So while she was crying, I was laughing uncontrollably. She was unable to find the tooth, so I told her to hand me her ice cream. Sure enough, the tooth was stuck in the ice cream bar. After she realized that it didn't hurt, she was pretty excited about it. She said, "I wonder if anyone will recognize me now."
